As you can see I've gone a bit AWOL. I was never really that active on dA and now I'm just not at all. Like I mentioned earlier; it's too much trouble and time to constantly keep updated. I don't know whether I'll come back to dA after I leave school, and if I do, it will be under a different name because of certain... issues. Fandom and people who aren't in the fandom IRL don't really mix well. Needless to say, my security isn't watertight and I don't want to be tracked down by the wrong people. Probably gonna need a whole fandom profile revamp. Can't decide if I should move my art to a new account or just leave it here. Or delete it all. S

So basically I've started school in a foreign land and school internet blocks deviantart. And tumblr. And many other perfectly legitimate sites, including Gieves an Hawkes. So I had a conversation with my dad. Well- he did most of the talking and I listened, but it was interesting. He told me a lot of things but the one think that I really got thinking about was parenting. My mum gave up her career as a lawyer when I was about 6 to take care of my brother and I full-time. She always says that she believes in giving her 100%, and she figured she couldn't be a lawyer and a mother at the same time so she retired at around the age of 30. Her friend, who held the same position as her in the law firm at the time, and has two kids around my age, is now earning millions and her entire family always flies first class,
